Restricted Trekking Areas
Restricted areas of Nepal are the trans-Himalayan borders with China. These areas are strictly prohibited to foreigners to travel under any circumstances by the immigration department in order to protect the environment, prevailing traditional cultures, to check illegal entry to China and to preserve the natural and herbal products and endangered wildlife.
